The primary means by which Emmaus Asheville seeks to disciple its members and equip them for mission is through our Missional Communities. They are the most important ministry of our church. A Missional Community is simply a group of disciples who have committed to do life together with gospel intentionality. We seek to live out the following three identities in the everyday stuff of life
We actively encourage each other in the study of Scripture, learning the teachings of Jesus, becoming more like him, and carrying on his mission in the world.
We “do life” together. We share meals, resources, pain, joy, and care for one another as the family of God.
We pursue active ways to publicly live out our faith and share the gospel and tangibly embody the kingdom of God in our communities.
